Read More I have used this to spice up my half marathon training for my third event this summer. I LOVE it. I was a little skeptical as i had purchased a 310 before and rarely - i mean rarely - used it due to bulk and too-many-buttons-to-use-to-control-it design. I love this new one with the touch screen - a little frustrating at times until I convinced myself to truly use my thumbnail as they recommend - problem mostly solved. I can create workouts on the fly, use a pacer, set different paces for different segments - set it to alert me for different reasons (pace, distance, training zones, heartrate) - or just use it to run without care and later see my stats. In short, I love it. Worth the money. My last one wasn't. I am a small boned woman, and the size is definitely not an issue on this one. -

Read More Everything is great about the watch, except the watch band, which popped when I was taking the watch off on day. The pin was damaged so I needed a new band. Garmin is sending me the replacement band, but because I requested to have it next day, I had to pay shipping. Still, it's a great watch, I highly recommend, just be really careful when taking off, the pins in the band are a terrible quality. -

Read More First and foremost, I love this watch. It is accurate, picks up a signal quickly and holds it, and the touch screen is fairly simple to use. I really like the mile alerts and the virtual training partner is fun to use. Unfortunately, my strap broke (at the pin) after a few months of use. A little duct tape fixed it. I really don't like the strap and would like to replace it with something more comfortable and easier to put on. The biggest problem with the watch appears to be the battery. I plug it into the charger, walk away, and a few hours later the watch is completely dead. This has happened several times. I clean the contacts, try a different outlet, mumble a few curses, and reposition the charging bracket. Nothing. Sometimes it will start charging, but if I move the watch it stops charging and shuts down. I've had it for less than a year and plan to return it and try again. -
May 5, 2013Strap IssuesThis watch was easy to set up and use. However, like many others, the pin became loose and I almost lost my watch during a race. Such great technology on sucha flimsy strap. A shame!

Read More I love this running watch. I was a devout Nike+GPS user for years, so I was a little hesitant when I received this watch as a gift, but I LOVE it! Being able to see my pace and other stats quickly while running is great. Uploading the data is very easy too and there is even an app for my iPhone to review my stats. My first watch's screen did die on me, but REI returned it no problem and gave me a brand new watch that hasn't given me any problems. -

Read More I use my watch for half marathon training. I often run alone, and I love the virtual partner feature because it pushes me to compete on tougher runs. I love the touchscreen, though it can sometimes take a bit of effort to make the screen respond. The GPS is incredibly accurate and relatively quick to load. I travel a lot for work, and the watch has easily picked up a GPS signal in a lot of remote places. The buttons are the perfect amount of responsive. I also really like the Garmin online software to compare runs and races. I could not be happier with this watch. -
Aug 31, 2012button fell offHad this for one day and was in the process of setting it up when a button fell off. I cant say anything about the watch as I never got to use it. We will see if the next one is better.
Read More I use the Garmmin 510 for cyclcing and love the amount of data I can get about my workouts. I AM NOT A RUNNER, but I'm training for a marathon. The 610 gives me all of the data I need to be sure I'm ready for the big day. It's worth every penney.
