Read More Bought this to carry medication (epi-pens) in on an out of country surf trip as it seemed to be the exact size I was looking for and wouldn't have any hard corners on it. It was worn while surfing in a small waist pack that was at times completely submerged but never to the 10 feet the manufacture rates it to. A few days in it developed a leak (small split along the seam). Its a good thing I didn't need the meds as they are no longer any good and if I had a phone in there it would be trashed. Would probably work just fine for splash protection but not for actual submersion.
Read More Bought in April to wear a cell phone on my lifejacket kayaking. I thought the dual ziplock-plus-slide seal would be totally watertight, better than the latch-type cases, and it is. The case was perfectly waterproof at first. But in June I noticed the case all fogged up inside, and mildly wet phone. Leak testing found 2 split seams and 1 hole, see photos. My light-blue-brand (good) and yellow-plastic-bar-brand (better) cases have been much more durable. Those latch seals seep moisture after repeated immersion, but not this much.
