Read More I had a similar training suit from TYR, and bought this one because I was so happy with the last one. I like to do pool workouts, adding in some pool deck calisthenics, and my last pair held up for a really long time to the workout wear & tear, as well as the damage from chlorine. I've had a few workouts in this new trainer suit, and based on the initial wear, I expect them to be much like the last pair. I have a 5'9" medium-build frame. They are short in length in the legs, and will ride up on your quads when doing flip-turns. However, as long as you pull down on the legs before you get out of the pool, they aren't so short that you feel awkward or indecent. If you are looking more for a "jammer" length suit, these are not for you. -

Read More Shorts just arrived in the mail (great delivery time, as usual for REI). But the image on-line looks like mid thigh, and the shorts themselves extend only about 2 inches below the crotch. I've never been a short shorts kind of guy, so these were not for me. (They were also a bit too tight, and I'm fairly skinny. I went with a 34, and I'm really a 33, so these run small.) If you don't mind tight and short, these will do fine. The specs list the inseam as "unavailable". It might have read "Daisy Duke length."
Read More Recently got this suit for pool lap swimming workouts and to help get rid of some tan lines that had developed with my board short type suits. Its comfortable and while short, I found does not garner quite as much attention as a full blown speedo (brief) type suit. These seem to be getting more popular also as I've seen more people sporting these at the beach. And yes, as the description and other feedback says, its not a jammer its a little shorter, but looks great. Think vintage swimsuit as in skin diving with a roundish old school dive mask! Get one you'll be glad you did.
