Read More These socks work well overall. They prevent sore spots from the Grip Trex boots, and they add a wicking layer of protection and warmth in nasty weather. They also help add bulk around the ankle so the boots stay on better, IF they don't slip down inside the boot. I wish they were 1/2 to 1 inch longer. The fabric is ideal for handling slush and snow, as it doesn't hold the moisture, but one of my dogs has rough pads and large claws. It is difficult to get the socks over his pads because the fabric catches on every rough spot, and they are a very snug fit. I tried cotton toddler socks and they became soaked and filled with snow, and then they froze solid around his ankles. The smaller size for my other dog is even shorter. They are the right size for her feet, but she's the typical leggy standard poodle with small feet, so the socks are just too short. This product really should be lengthened in every size. Otherwise, it does its job. -

Read More Sizes were consistent with the measurements we took of our Labrador's paws.. we use them on her because she sometimes chews her paws. we traced her paws and measured and followed the charts and the size we ordered (XXS-XS) have fit.. we ordered two pairs last year and I am ordering another two pairs. The only thing I have found to help keep them on better is a strip of athletic tape. the fact I have to buy socks for a dog is crazy enough, but these have lasted and I noticed she finally created a hole in one a year later. -

Read More This product sizing is so off the chart wrong its crazy. I ordered the xxs-xs bark n boot for my dog, she is 5 month old pup right now and this boot is the size of a M-L boot from any pet store. not sure where the sizing chart got its guide from, would really hate to see what an XL looks like, I could probably wear it.
Read More Have a small dog (15 pounds) this time around. Bought him some XXS shoes from RuffWear as these worked so well on my now deceased larger dog for both weather and foot injury healing. The XXS small shoes fit the dog but fall off frequently due to his skinny legs, so I wanted the socks to help the shoes stay on. The XXS socks were for a range of sizes, but starting at a 2" paw (my shoes are for 1.5" paw). There was no point even trying the socks due to the hugeness- had to return them. Back to the old trick to keep the shoes on- a strip of "VetWrap" or "Coban" around the ankle.
