Feb 15, 2015broke before usingI bought a pair of the these laces to go in my mountain bike shoes after I could not find the salomon laces. They broke on the first "yank" on the first shoe.

If properly laced they allow for quick, independent metatarsal and toe box adjustment. They are durable, as well, I have switched them between old shoes onto new running shoes and they are still going strong. -
Apr 27, 2014Broke within the first couple of daysI installed them on my 11-year-old son's running shoes. Installation was not too difficult. He broke one of the laces in the first couple of days.

Read More I love these laces. Have worn the same two pair in two pairs of heavily used desert tactical style Merrills for over a year. One lace wore through in an eyelet. Cut off the end, rethread through the lock, and gone!
