Jul 16, 2015Bad CaseDid not protect my daughter's ipad from a day at the pool. Do not recommend. It let a lot of water in and now my daughter's ipad is toast. Lost all of her pictures and movies. Poor design.

Read More I can't opine as to how waterproof it is because we live in the Utah desert where it hardly rains. But, we've had this bag for years, and it has held up well with no tears, etc. We mostly use ours for camping with our kids, and even use it to hang off the seat for video watching in the car on roadtrips. You can operate the Ipad easily through the bag, and overall, we are very happy with the purchase, years later. We have an older Ipad, and maybe it's smaller than the previous users Ipad? Or maybe he got a lemon . . . -

Read More As a running and cycling commuter (depending on the season and the snow level), I purchased this with high hopes that it could keep my iPad dry through an hour in a heavy downpour. Unfortunately, the side seems tear very easily. The case quickly developed a tear down the side and lost all of its waterproof capabilities. The problem is in the design I think - the plastic is too inflexible at cooler temps (nothing below freezing) to avoid tearing. I recommend a 2-gallon Ziploc bag instead. You can't find them in stores, but you can buy them online. They work great, are absolutely water tight, and you can recycle them without feeling bad about how much you paid.
