Read More Watch only lasted 1.5 months before it started randomly resetting itself the screen finally shorted out and only shows random blurry numbers. Tried changing battery, still same problem. During that month and a half the barometer was very accurate but obviously not impressed with the watch considering its lifespan. -

Read More I have had 3 of these watches over the last 25 years. Each one has lasted at least 10 years or so and they keep getting better. One thing I really like about this is that the numbers are large and easy to read. I have found this to be just as accurate and the more expensive ones that some of my friends have. -

Read More I have a few Casio Pathfinder watches. This one has all of the features as the others except the "Compass" feature. That's all right. When I anticipate needing the compass feature, I'll wear one of the others. I like the Casio platform. It gives you a lot of function in a reasonably priced package. -

Read More I needed a new everyday watch and I wanted something that was rugged, comfortable, and easy to read. Since I've always had good luck with Casio I looked to them first. This watch is perfect for my job and everday wear. It's easy to read, has a very lightweight and balanced feel for such a big watch, and it looks good. I thought it might feel bulky but it isn't at all. It has some nice features but the time is the most important thing to me. At this price I don't think you can beat it. -

Read More Use it for keeping time obviously but it was a great reference for hiking in the mountains. I was usually within 80-150 ft of posted elevations. It is more accurate if you use reference points and calibrate the watch accordingly. Overall value for [$] seems pretty decent. Serious mountaineers I would upgrade, but I found it very useful especially when there was significant avalanche danger at certain altitudes it worked great to have an idea where you are at.
Read More This watch worked like a charm - easy to read, easy to operate (although a bit different in what buttons to push compared to other Casios I've owned), and reasonably accurate in its barometer and altitude measurements. Until a couple of weeks ago when suddenly, all the buttons stopped working. Fortunately it happened when it was on "time", but I can't change the time, change the mode, observe altitude or air pressure, use it as a stopwatch, etc. And when daylight savings times stops or starts, I won't be able to change the time, either. The watch is about 2 years old. I have no idea why this happened, but it's made the watch almost useless.
