Read More Let me start by saying, I hate having to buy socks. I want my socks to last. I got tired of every few months buying cotton socks from your local "mart" store. I have a few pears of Thorlos that I received back in 2006. 1 of the 4 pairs has died and only about a month ago. I use them as daily wear socks, in all but the summer months. (each pair worn once a week for 8 years) That to me is sock longevity. I still am surprised by how long those lasted… With that said, I was a bit disappointed with these. Wearing a pair of socks once a week, I expect to get at least a years worth of use. These socks lasted 37 weeks. Or… if you want specifics, I wore them 37 times. When it comes to hiking/outdoor athletic style socks, I expect them to last for casual use. I've had cheap white cotton socks last longer. Though, they were comfortable while they lasted. -

When I come back from a long walk, I don't rush to take off my shoes & socks because they are so comfortable on my feet. After I washed them, they look like a sock for an infant but they stretch back just fine to fit my foot. -
Jan 4, 2013They Don't Last LongI bought three pair for running because I liked the style and price. But after maybe 5-6 wearings I already had holes in the toes on two of the pairs. Really disappointing.

Read More Finally wore out the toes of my first two pair after FIVE years of 2 to 4 times weekly water aerobics. The rest of the sock still is perfect. Tried some cheap socks- waste of money. So I again purchased several pair of these Wrightsocks; all still like new after 2 years. No sag, no bunch, no wrinkles under foot. For long life - I wash on gentle or in bag and hang to dry; I never put in dryer.
