Read More I used this clothesline on a cycle trip. I like that there are 3 ways to attach it to something: clips, Velcro, and suction cups. I attached one end to my tent via a clip, and the other to my bike via the Velcro. My clothes stayed put on the line and I am very happy with my purchase! No worries about losing clothespins, and it's lightweight to carry, and seems very versatile. -

Read More We bought this at the last minute & took on a trip to Europe. We stayed in 2 hotels that it happened to fit just fine inside the tubs/showers. It held more clothes than I thought it would (tip: clip a corner in between the braids rather than drape over the line) and the suction cups and lines held fine. I only wish we brought 2 lines to use for our kids. It slipped inside suitcases and took up very little room. This was a great product for us. It allowed us to pack fewer clothes. -

Read More I usually have good results with REI brand gear, but this device isn't worth half the price. It's actually rather bulky and didn't pack down as small as a clothesline should; in frustration, I cut the ends off and braided a new line from 550 cord. I won't buy REI brand gear without examining it in store first, moving forward... -

Read More The clothesline is 3 feet long, but can stretch up to 72 inches. It will hold one boardshort (my only wet clothing I have to test). There are three ways to attach the clothesline to an object-- smooth glass surface (suction cups), sturdy cylindrical objects (velcro wraps), small cylindrical objects (hooks). Its a great product to dry out swim wear to wear the next day or to pack up to go back home. -

Tried it in our bathroom at home and the suction cups won't stay stuck to the wall when it's pulled just a bit beyond it's default length. I have no idea how the others have experienced a better product... maybe quality differs? -

Read More This is a great little item; I'm surprised to see the negative reviews. I bought the item before heading out on a weeklong trip to Yosemite, as I knew we'd need to wash out hiking clothes several times during the trip. The suction cups adhered perfectly to the sides of the hotel shower stall; in fact, the suction was so strong that it was a bit of a struggle to pry the cups off. We had clothes spread out on the braided latex cord all week, and the cord supported them perfectly with no sign of stretching out or breaking. This item does exactly what it says it's going to do, and does it flawlessly. What more can you ask?
Read More Good thing there are velcro strips and hooks on the ends of this, because the suction cups do not stay on smooth shower walls - with or without clothing on it. The stretchy braided line does hold small-medium items well. My daughter took it to Europe anyway.
