Read More This is my second pair of these super comfortable shoes. The first pair gave good service, but I simply wore them out! Very lightweight and flexible. Appropriate for trail running on smooth and even surfaces, but I prefer more support on rough trails than these are designed to provide. Cool mesh tops are outstanding in the summertime providing great ventilation in hot weather. -
Jan 9, 2016Worst shoe ever. The worst shoe I have ever purchased. The stitching is already coming apart. I havn't even worn them that much.

Jan 9, 2016Weird fitFor me they just fit weird, narrow heel to ball, loose in the toe box. I will say the heel did not rub/move around much.

Read More I can't say enough good things about these shoes. Super comfortable, very supportive, breathe well. I use these for walking, hiking and all kinds of outdoor activities. They have excellent traction and stability, yet are friendly on floors. They very seldom pick up pebbles and small rocks like virtually all hiking boots and shoes. Added bonus-I really like their look. I evidently discovered these at the end of their product life. If I could find more I'd buy a couple pairs for the future. -

Read More Disclaimer: I bought this shoe for much less than the clearance price with the aid of a coupon, given the low cost I'm happy with the purchase. I liked the color and style of this shoe and purchased it with the intent of using it as a walker or everyday shoe that would not be worn in wet or muddy weather. It seems too rigid to be of use while trail running, unless that is the way you like your shoe to be. The sizing seems a bit off as well. I bought it in my normal size and it seems to run a bit large, but not necessarily a whole half size off. When I wear thicker socks it almost fits perfectly. Lastly the cushioning is minimal. In other trail runners I've used, cushioning is important to me. I imagine after running over roots in these you might be feeling it. In fact after wearing these for some walks over 5 miles I felt a little sore on the bottom of my heel. To sum up, if you like the look and are just looking for a casual shoe, these might work for you. If you are looking for a trail runner, look elsewhere.
Read More Rugged shoe. Tongue is traditional, and is not attached to rest of shoe. Runs slightly large. I normally wear a 10, and should have tried on a 9 1/2. Try a half size smaller before you leave the store. REI has a nice color on sale, but does not carry in the store. Sole is fairly firm, and depending on your feet, you may want to wear 2 pair of socks for cushioning. You shouldn't have to worry about breaking a toe with this shoe! My runs on dirt trails 3 days a week 8 mile and 3 days a week 4 mile.
