Thanks Ruffwear. -

Read More I got this for my 35 lb Pit Bull who gets cold easily thanks to ultra short fur. It's easy to get on, doesn't limit her mobility, and keeps her warm. It is a bit too long and quite a bit too big in the waist, but the small is the perfect size for her chest. We use it for hanging around the house or taking walks on cold, dry days mostly. I wouldn't recommend it for situations where it may get wet or snag on brush. -

Read More Got this after camping with our pit out in the desert. As a new desert rat I underestimated how cold it gets when the sun goes down. After a trip where he spent a few nights shivering in our tent I bought this jacket. The construction is sturdy and it does it's job and keeps my short haired boy nice and warm. I should mention I've had it for about a year now and it's still almost like new after many uses and washes. -

Read More Our senior German shepherd dog, Rook, had one, XL, in grey. I was very impressed with the quality of the fleece and zipper, and how it covered the neck comfortably, and extended all the way almost to the tail for full coverage, and also extended underneath to the stomach. The zipper was easy to attach and pull smoothly. The material was much thicker and tightly woven (denser) than cheaper fleece. To put it on, I could do it at least 2 ways: 1) lay it on the floor with the 2 leg holes in front of the dog, and help him step in, then pull up, or 2) have the dog lay upright (if painful to bend leg) and carefully pull through each leg. Then wrap the top material over and around to attach the zipper and pull. He wore it under a rain jacket for extra protection when he had to keep his stitches from surgery from getting wet. Since he sometimes accidentally peed into the bottom part, we would sometimes pull the back end up and over the back and fold it. This would not be a problem for a female dog. This coat was very effective when we wanted to turn the heat off in the house while we were gone. So, now we bought another one for our newly adopted 5-year-old smooth border collie. The grey is less humanizing, but I bought magenta color instead because it was the only one available in the store. I highly recommend this fleece coat, especially for short-coated dogs, and older dogs. -

Read More I never thought I'd be buying my dog a jacket! My husband and I went on a cross-country road trip last spring, and our Floridian dog was not enjoying some of the cooler nights in the mountains. After we bought this jacket, she stayed nice and warm wherever we stayed. We bought a large for our 80ish lb dog, and while the torso fit is great the arm holes seem a bit saggy. Still, no chafing and she only walks a little bit weird until she gets used to it! This is perfect for cold weather walks and cold camping conditions, especially if you have a dog that doesn't like sleeping under blankets! -

Read More I was skeptical spending as much on a fleece for my dog as I can spend on one for myself. But Rogue, our 36 lbs Border Collie from South Carolina was getting chilly in the PACNW winters and with winter hikes/campouts coming up, I didn't want her too cold. The fleece is easy to put on and does not restrict her movement at all. I was most impressed with how breathable it was. Out on a cold day, she wore this and a pack. She was never sweaty or wet under the pack. She seemed comfortable. Great product!
Read More Been on several snowshoe hikes and xc skis with my dog in this fleece. He loves diving into deep snow and this keeps him surprisingly dry. Easy on/off, and the internal zipper flap keeps his shaggy coat from getting stuck in the zipper.
