Read More These are good value, especially compared to other brand names which are more expensive. My only reason to give it 4-stars vs 5 is that the colors are limited to one color per size; meaning you better like blue for 16ltr, green for another size, etc. Given the opportunity I'd have more color selections available for each size. Not hard to do really. -
Aug 7, 2014Great Space SaverSo many uses... I got two because I knew my kid's would steal one!! Great for sleeping bags, loose clothes and sweats. Appreciate the corners and stitching / end-caps.

Read More I bought two of these compression sacks. The first one tore the first night I used it on a bicycle backpacking trip. It ripped at the top horizontal seam of the bag. The second one faired a little better, as at the end of our week long trip it was still in one piece but barely. The nylon threads were visibly strained and stretched to the point where you could see through the bag at the same spot where my first bag tore. I would guess that the days of the second bag are numbered. I expected better durability than bag #1 tearing on night #1 and the other bag hanging by several threads by the end of week #1. -

Read More This ripped on the second use. I tried it once in store and then brought it home and packed my sleeping bag up in it again and it ripped. No hard travel, just put my bag in it. It does get pretty small, but it's not durable i the least, so don't buy it. -
May 6, 2014Light but sturdyUsed this for my wife's Sierra Designs Eleanor bag. It works great getting the bag small enough to stuff into my wife's smallish backpack. Seems sturdy even being so light.

Read More I bought this to help compress my zero degree bag for a 3 day backpacking trip where we anticipated temperatures to drop to 25 degrees with rain, snow, and 30 mile per hour winds. The stuff sack worked completely as advertised. It seems stronger than I expected for something so light weight. In light of the rain and snow, I ended up also using large waterproof bags and learned to appreciate the extra water protection. However, plastic bag around the regular stuff sack worked well. -

Read More They seem potentially pretty great and do what they're made to do, but I'll be keeping a close eye on the sewn seams for possible fragility under stress before I can feel comfortable expecting "years" of usage. If they hold together well then I'll consider these to be awesome bang for buck. I've also noticed that the plastic cord cincher needs to be tucked down into the hole or it seems to put a sharp point into the center of the top cover fabric when you get it tightly compressed.
Read More I bought this item when my new sleeping bag did not come with a compression bag of its' own. I had not realized how heavy and bulky my old compression bag was with my old sleeping bag until I bought this. It is light, tough, and easy to use.
