Read More I purchased this product to use with my spotting scope while hunting from a blind. While it is not as sturdy as a traditional tripod it works exceptionally well. I can clamp the product to the window sill of the blind and not have to maneuver around a tripod. Very pleased with how well this product fits the application I purchased it for.Originally posted on joby.com

Read More I honestly haven't had a chance to use the tripod too much. But I just want to say that this company has amazing customer service. Ordered my package and was expecting to recieve it one week later. I recieced a notice that the package was delivered, however, I hadn't recieced anything. I called Joby and left a message. Within a few hours I recieved a message from Karen who was concerned and asked me to contact fed ex. Apparently the fed ex delivery person had accidentally delivered packages to the wrong apartments including mine. Fed ex promised to come out and retrieve my package but for one week I heard nothing. After calling daily, they finally asked me to contact the shipper. Immediately I send a note back to Karen to apologize. She had no problem and within minutes she shipped out a new package. The package promptly arrived the next day. I opened it and tried our the product. It was really sturdy and it held great when. I attached it to a horizontal bar. The ball head is is super smooth and super easy to use. I really like this product and can't wait to use it outdoors.Originally posted on joby.com

Read More The GorillaPad is a great item. It has quickly become my favorite travel tripod. The design (and resulting functionality) is outstanding. Additionally, after I realized I had made an error when submitting my initial order, Karen in customer service, provided what I would describe as "World Class Service". What a great overall experience this has been.Originally posted on joby.com

Read More Used the tripod for the first time on a 35 mile backpack trip in the John Muir Wilderness. Kept my Olympus OM-D camera and zoom lens steady for group, low light, and night shots. The built in level gauge came in handy. Best of all, the tripod is light and fits easily into my backpack. Highly recommended.
Read More Bought this to take with me while hiking through Joshua Tree National Park. I have a Canon SLR that can be a little bulky at times but it takes great pictures. I wasn't confident this tripod would hold the SLR because of the size of the camera compared to the size of the tripod. Turns out my worries weren't worthwhile. It worked great and I got some spectacular nature shots to include some sunset shots that are frame-worthy. The nice thing about this tripod is that it folds up into your backpack easily and really doesn't weigh much. Great for day hiking for sure.
