I NEVER exercise without my HRM. I had the old S210 and it broke with a short drop... but this RS300X is much more durable. It's been very reliable. I do not use it for my daily watch so it has lasted a long time.

I had a polar RS300x and I love it! except the strap! I changed it two times and it's broken again! It's impossible to keep it in one piece! Why polar dosen't change this strap and make a better one? I bought my polar in France and I live now in Canada (Québec), so how can I do to change my strap here? I live close to Trois-Rivières. Thank you in advance for your help and to answer to my review. I am so disapointed with this...

This was my first polar product that I received as a gift. I use the watch maybe once a week; what I would consider a light to moderate use for a device like this. While the actual device/computer is functional, the strap really brought down my review of this watch. It becomes very brittle over time and breaks. Not very impressed considering this was (at the time) a pretty expensive purchase.

I am an avid Polar fan and long term user; Polar has accompanied me on marathon training. RX300 was my third Polar. It does the job technically, but the strap has been made with the wrong material and just breaks down too fast. Becomes brittle over time and I really tried to hang on to it as long as I could (see picture), but it it time for a new one.

I've had the RS300X for a year or so and while it can generally detect the HRM initially, it loses the HRM signal every few minutes. I've tried every corrective action suggested by the manufacturer but none of them have resolved this problem. The HRM functionality is the reason I bought this watch, and without that functionality, this watch is useless to me.
