Read More This was my first polar product that I received as a gift. I use the watch maybe once a week; what I would consider a light to moderate use for a device like this. While the actual device/computer is functional, the strap really brought down my review of this watch. It becomes very brittle over time and breaks. Not very impressed considering this was (at the time) a pretty expensive purchase.

Read More I am an avid Polar fan and long term user; Polar has accompanied me on marathon training. RX300 was my third Polar. It does the job technically, but the strap has been made with the wrong material and just breaks down too fast. Becomes brittle over time and I really tried to hang on to it as long as I could (see picture), but it it time for a new one.

Read More I've had the RS300X for a year or so and while it can generally detect the HRM initially, it loses the HRM signal every few minutes. I've tried every corrective action suggested by the manufacturer but none of them have resolved this problem. The HRM functionality is the reason I bought this watch, and without that functionality, this watch is useless to me.
