Read More These are durable, comfortable and live up to expectations — waterproof without trapping sweat. I can't find my original purchase online but I think I got three years of use from the first pair and that is with daily use for eight months of the year. The old ones are still here for backup. -

All day comfort. Haven't yet worn them in the wet. Discovered these in the REI store, then later saw many rave reviews on the website, that people have had multiple pair over several years. I hope TEVA reads these and continues to make and refine the shoe. I think they have solved the stitching-in-the-heel-cup problem. 4.5 Stars to TEVA. -

Read More Amazing shoe, one of the best I owned (for a week). Fabulous construction, design and quality is second to none. Quality is top notch. I looked forward to owning these shoes for years to come. However, after a couple of days at the rear of the shoe, on my heel, a seem started to rub my heel, causing it to bleed, scab over and then pain set in. I had no choice to exchange the shoe for a different brand. I wanted to stay with the Teva but REI was out of my size, so I was "stuck" with going with another brand. I seriously love this shoe. The problem seemed to just be with one of the two shoes, so likely was an anomaly. BUY THIS SHOE because it is that good. The leather liner with the sweat wicking fabric - so bummed I dont have this shoe any longer...love the design (more of a blue than the brown shown)...so wish I could get this shoe back. I invest in my shoes is why I am so passionate about this. -

Read More I just ordered my third pair. I visited an REI store a few years ago and an employee suggested them. I have never been unsatisfied. They lasted a couple years and I wear them 3+ seasons of the year. The Vibram soles work good on the trail but I use them for everyday wear and multipurpose when traveling. Not super light but feel like moccasins the way they cradle the foot. I give them a 5-star for the way I use them but will say two other things that someone else might not like. 1- I have bought them in Beluga color, (bluish side panels with brownish top and back. The "Beluga" will turn brown well before they wear out. In effect, they will be all brown at some point well before they are worn. The browns will match each other though. So your color choice will not matter in time. 2- My first pair wore out in the inside heel area first. Soles were still plenty good. The wear was from inserting my heel when putting them on. With my second pair, which are about one year old, I stick a couple fingers between my heel and shoe back when I insert my foot to prevent this. They look practical new still. -

Read More I've worn these for about two months on a pretty regular basis, and they've worked out great in rain, snow, and ice. However, my only point to mention is that the exterior material is easily scratched and roughed up - so if I'm going to be walking on a bunch of rocks or know that they'll end up saturated by the end of a hike - I definitely would not use them. The material is soft and tears easily if you brush against a rock or tree stump, so unless you ONLY wear these in the forest, chances are you'll want them to not look beat up, which will happen quickly. Nice shoes, but definitely not what I'd consider totally "active" footwear. -

Read More I have many many pair of shoes and these are by far my favorite. I went into the store with the intention of purchasing another pair of shoes but wasn't sure what I wanted and came across these eVents. Super comfortable, great soul and like the description says you can go straight from town to the outdoors. Also waterproof yet breathable, great design. I don't like to wear my shoes too many days in a row so I am looking to add another pair to the collection in a different color. I would highly recommend these shoes. I did have to break them in a bit but after a couple days they were perfect.

Read More I have only initial impressions as I returned the product because it was uncomfortable. The toe box was a bit too snug and the footbed/insole did not conform to the contours of my foot. Aside from fit, it is attractive and appears to be well constructed using good materials.
