Read More maybe I have long monkey toes (though no girlfriend has ever said anything), but the placement of padding doesn't quite work. The padding stops halfway on the balls of my feet, and from the heel comes halfway into the arch. This creates a discomfort when running I can definitely feel, I can feel the uneven padding on the balls of my feet when running. I usually wear these for kicking around the house or weight training, not cardio, -

Read More I've been running endurance races for the last 10 years. My original athletic socks were cotton ones. During all these years I've tried all kinds of performance socks always trying to find the ones that stay put and don't bunch up, wicks well and keep feet blisters free. I would get an occasional blister after running 10 and more miles, especially on a warmer day with any kind of socks but usually it would be minor ones. My favorites during last 6 years were Wright socks with double layer which proved very reliable during running through heavy rain, hot days and all in between. When I first tried this thorlo socks which I got for free during store promotion I was very impressed. I felt it gave me an additional cushion in the right places, they looked cool and professional. However every time I run more than 3 miles in these I get blisters (which I thought was because of warm weather), last time when I tried them for 11 miles run I came home with the huge blisters on my both feet, right at the ball of the feet where you touch the ground most if you keep your stride according to the natural running. It was worse ever even comparing to my cotton socks. An it was on a cold day, wearing my tried running shoes(Newtons Terra Momentum) and those socks were also used before on a shorter runs. For the reference a week before I had an over 13 miles run in wright socks, on a warm day, and I had just a very minor blister on my one foot. For my coming race I'll certainly be back to my favorite Wright socks... -

Read More Second favorite sock out there. Love the light weight tops and cush heals and forefoot. Collar is just about the right height. since trying Injinji socks two years ago I have been faithful to that brand, but i saw these and had to try them. Spendy but i have yet to see a pair wear out on me since purchasing late last year. I think I like the coolmax better than the wool/silk blend but time will tell. -

Read More Very very comfortable and good support. Highly recommend. I wear size 9.5 shoe, bought the medium (for shoe size 8.5-10), and it fit perfectly. You can wear them two or three times before washing because they wick moisture so well - so [$] a pair isn't that bad. Again, great sock.
Read More I bought these for sports, they are great for trail running & to wear with bike shoes but I ended up getting a bunch more as my everyday sock, they are so comfortable for the gym working out or watching TV. I'm pretty exclusive with these Thorlos! I think I run faster in these so I call them my secret weapon for speed!
