Under Armour  Proximo T-Shirt - Men's

I got one of these to try out and loved it for the reasons the commenter above (or below) me noted. As a result I got 3 more. Then the summer hit. I can wear a regular cotton shirt about 2 - 3 times in sunny whether before it needs to go to the laudry because of the smell. With this shirt, I can barely go a day. It picks up moisture, but also sweat, which can be a very bad thing as I noticed. They pack tight, but using them for travel is difficult if you can't wear it more than once. Also, I found that it stains easily, and somehow the stains don't come out like on cotton shirts??? Considering it is polyester I thought it would be the opposite. Finally, unlike any other shirt I've ever worn, this thing can scuff. I was leaning against a brick wall and actually scuffed the shirt, and it didn't even require much. I've now done this to 2 shirts. The scuffs have a whitish look to them, and are not removable. It makes sense I guess since the shirt is basically woven plastic. For[$] this shirt is not worth it. Too bad since I really wanted to like them.

Since I can remember, it seems that every Spring I find myself looking for some new "moisture wicking" t-shirts again. Every year I buy something new and every year it fails. This year is very different. These UA Proximo T's are the best T I have ever worn in warm/hot weather. I actually purchased it because of the 50+ UPF protection. I was super surprised to find that it is extremely cool - the polyester is super soft - feels like synthetic silk. It breathes extremely well and dries very quick. The fabric is always cool against my skin. I am 6'2" - 245 lbs with a barrel chest, 40 inch waist, and the extra large fits great. It has a loose feel but is not too big at all - and certainly not snug at all. I am one of those people that sweat like a mad man if I blink too fast or think too hard. I sweat. You really have no idea how much I love these shirts. I have 6 of them. I have finally found something that works with the way that I sweat. Sounds silly to get so excited about a T-shirt I know - but seriously - if you saw me sweat you'd understand. For those people that understand where I am coming from - buy one and give it a try. You will buy more - I can guarantee it. Also, the shirts are great at belnding the sweat - i.e. - even when you are sweating, there are not massive visable wet spots on the T - the shirt is the same color wet as it is dry.
