I have this shirt in 3 colors!
This shirt is one of the most useful in my wardrobe. I bought it for travel, and it is superbly flexible. I have worn it under a blazer, over a swim suit, with jeans and skirts, as a blouse tied at the waist over a dress, with a scarf, with jewelry, to cover up my arms and shoulders for cultural reasons, and more! I live at the beach, so I keep this handy for sea breezes and sun. The shirt washes well in the sink, dries fast, and resists wrinkles. I like the shirt for everyday, travel, hiking, bicycling, and would consider it for backpacking. I am 5'8", so the long sleeves are perfect. My chest is 36", so I usually wear small or medium. The size 8 fits me well. The classic cut and fabric texture make it classy enough for many situations. The fabric is a bit sheer, but a neutral bra color and the classic cut make that OK. I have nice range of motion, no button gap, and the fit is roomy enough to layer over tops. I also like the loose fit for air circulation..
Mt. Hardwear Transit Shirt
While these are well made and have some nice features, they are VERY lightweight. So much so, that they are see-through. I could easily see my bra through the material. Perhaps there are people who like that, not my style.
Nice shirt, but sleeves way too long
Attractive shirt, but the sleeves are way too long, monkey-long, in fact. Had to get the shirt tailored--since these are cuffs you can't roll up--thereby adding $15 or so to the price of the shirt for me.
