Read More This product is the 1:24k topo maps on a sim card for insertion into the gps (Oregon 400t) adds much desired detail to map display, use is transparent, once installed works well and moving from default maps 1:100k to 1_24k maps is automatic. One issue is that the sim does not come with mapsource, so to use your pc to plan routes and upload to gps you will need to buy another garmin product that has mapsource on it - more $$.
Read More This is a similar review to my review of the Mountain West product. I purchased both and feel the same about both products. Purchasing this sd-card version of the Garmin map means you must *always* use that micro-sd card with your GPS unit. It is not possible to download the map to another card, combine multiple maps on one card, or use this map with Basemap without having the GPS plugged into a computer. All of these things are possible with DVD or downloadable maps from what Garmin support told me. The support folks basically said "Sorry, you purchased a product which cannot do the things you are asking." The maps itself works pretty well. It appears to be similar to the older USGS topo maps.
