Dark Tundra is really Forest Green
I ordered my jacket prior to the review by user 'Scott' which is too bad since I would have ordered the gray jacket if I would have known that 'Dark Tundra' was actually 'Forest Green'. With that said, style is cool and it fits well. Much better for me versus the baggier Burton jackets. I haven't used it for any winter sports activities yet, so I can't judge based on performance. I will update my review after my snowboarding session this weekend.
Warm Coat, but is Green under light!!
The color looks Brown on the Website, but under light the jacket looks more green than brown, so be warned
Very nice jacket
I bought this in the store, so I could see the color prior to purchase. I can understand frustration when the colors don't look quite right online, but this is always an issue when purchasing online. As for the jacket itself, I happened across it while browsing. I was going to buy a Marmot, but ended up with this instead, and am very pleased with that decision. The jacket is very warm, and did a great job at keeping me protected while snowboarding. I looked at many other snowboard jackets, but like that this one isn't as baggy or obnoxious looking, yet it has plenty of movement and isn't bland looking either. It isn't perfect though. I have a few wishes: provide a place to attach a lift ticket (like a specific ring) to the front. Otherwise, my ticket would get covered when attached to my pants. Also, I wish the upper front pockets where a little larger for my rather large Canon G9 camera. Admittedly, a smaller camera would fit fine, but I choose to have a more capable camera. It does fit in the lower pockets fine. Finally, I'm not exactly sure how the mp3 player pocket (inside) is supposed to work, but it does seem a bit too small for my Zune. Perhaps a smaller player would be fine. Overall, this is a great jacket, at a great price, especially on clearance.
