Read More Used the Penguin Sport Wash to clean a hydration pack that has since its share of dusty trails and hot, sweaty hikes. Followed the mixing directions and washed the pack in a 5 gallon bucket. Rinsed out really easy and after letting the pack dry out, it looks brand new. Its hard to describe but the sheen of the nylon was restored back to its original condition. All the stains from sweat are all gone. No residue or detergent type odor. This stuff is great. -

Read More This was the answer to my prayers. I have an issue with body odor related to my lymph nodes draining. I know, too much information, but I have been looking for a clothing deodorizer for years. I put a little of the Sport Wash directly on the affected areas, sometimes rubbing it in, and the odor gets washed away. I do this method using either Sport Wash as the main detergent or another detergent. (Using it as the main detergent, I use more than suggested--that seems to give me better results.) A bonus of this scent-free Sport Wash is that you don't need to use fabric softeners. I even use it on fine washables. Yes, it is expensive. But totally worth it for me. -

Read More I've been using this product now for 5 years. It was actually recommended to me by guy selling me clothes at REI...& since clothing is expensive there, he said to use a capful of this stuff & I should be good to go. It is Great Stuff!! Since using the Sport Wash on clothes I purchased from REI, they have never looked better (even the ones I purchased 5 years ago) & have never smelled better also. It does take the 'funk' out & the clothes I use it on have never felt cleaner. It really is great stuff. -

Read More I have been desperately seeking a wash to remove the lingering odor from my sports bras and shirts. I was ready to throw several items out when I found Penguin. One wash and the odor was gone. And the odor didn't sneak back up on me after wearing the items for a while (you know what I mean). I think the clothes even looked brighter. At first I didn't want to fork out [$] on the chance it would work. But it saved several $30+ UV tech shirts and expensive sports bras, so it was worth every penny. -

Read More I've been using this stuff for a couple of years now and I really like it. I use it on gym clothes, hiking and camping wear & gear, rain and snow gear, and more. It cleans well and deodorizes too. And it doesn't wash out waterproofing on my shells and fleece clothes. It's the best priced stuff for the quantity. Leaves no residue or lingering smell. So, why use anything else? -

Read More I use this product to wash all of my dri-fit sportswear: socks, shirts, shorts, and underwear. It gets the Body Odor out of the performance fabrics that normal detergent can not. On the negative side this wash does have a distinct odor. It is not scented as the label says but it has an unpleasant odor that you can smell faintly on your gear after it dries. It works great but the unpleasant scent of the detergent is why I can only give it a 4/5. -

Read More My wife and I are endurance athletes and use a large bottle of this every few weeks. First the good: it really works great at keeping technical clothes smelling fresh. However, when you open the cap for the first time on a new bottle, the seal over the top is impossible to remove without a knife, and is SUPER annoying! For the love of us all, this stuff is expensive and how much extra would it cost to put a pull/peel tab on there instead? If you're going to use one or two bottles a year, you'll love it. If not, get ready for a bad experience each time you open a fresh one.
