i would wear these everyday
great pants, very comfortable. I bought the bronze and liked them so much I also bought the soil color. I've had a few issues with the soil not being completely color fast but their still great pants. I've worn them on a couple of hikes already. They have a loose, baggy fit that give plenty of room to move. The pockets are very functional and easily accessible.
Not true to size
I use this product hiking and as just casual wear. I have the bronze color. In many ways I love the pants. They material is comfortable, light weight, and dries quickly. Left pocket is just an exterior cargo pocket with mesh sides. Right pocket has an interior pocket that has a cellphone/mp3 player compartment inside of it, and an outer pocket matching the left. I somewhat doubt the mesh that these exterior pockets are made out of will be durable in the long run. I do have two complaints. First, I ordered a 32" inseam, which is what a majority of my pants are. These REI pants are WAY too long. Pant legs go down around the bottom of my shoes and I walk on them. It's almost as if these pants were made to be worn extremely high. When hiking, the really long leg snagged on a limb and then split up the seam about 2" on the side of the pant leg. This seemed to happen very easy. I would order another pair, but I'm going to get the 30" inseam.
good but not perfect
I own two pairs of these. The inseams are longer than advertised. Hip pockets openings are too high, and double-velcro flaps interfere with their use. I really wish REI would correct this problem. Material tends to fray after several washings. Otherwise, they are great. They are extremely comfortable.
