Read More I've used this just once so far. Requires 2 people to hang-- one to hold the filled bag over their head, and the other to tie it . You can't hoist it up by yourself by pulling the thin cord. The water just weighs too much and would create too much friction on the cord. I didn't actually make the sun heat up the water. I filled it part way with cold water and then poured in quite hot water from the stove to reach the desired temperature. I finished my shower before the bag was empty. The nozzle worked well. I like that it packs so small. -

Read More A very compact, light weight shower bag. I only used it once, and we got to camp around 4:00 pm (sea level California) so I don't know how long it takes to heat up. After an hour I took a nice cool-to-lukewarm shower. Better than dipping in a stream. Nice. -

Read More This is one of the few "extras" I threw into my pack before hiking the John Muir Trail, and I'm really glad I did. We used it mostly as a water source in camp, but also used it to wash hair. Less than an hour in the sun would warm the water up enough to be comfortable, though not hot. A lot of our camp sites were several minutes from water, so this saved us a lot of extra trips, besides giving us warmer water. It was definitely worth the extra 5 oz in my pack. We did not have any problems with leakage or with the string not being strong enough. -
Sep 4, 2013Really nice shower bag.I really like this shower. I bought a second one to work with a sawyer filter with modifications. I like the strength and wide opening. It will be easy to fill.

Read More I camp with my horse a lot so I hang the shower bag on the side of my horse trailer during the day, then move it inside the horse trailer to take a shower. Even if it's not such a hot day, I can always heat water on my camp stove to add to it and warm it up a bit. I have long hair and find that there is plenty of water for me to wash my hair and shower without running out. I'm buying a new one now as the old one is about 4 years old and has started to seep at the bottom seam. That's my only read 'complaint' with it. All things considered, I think it has held up well and I definitely recommend it to my friends! -

Read More I tried it out at home before taking it out on a trip and it is very nice for such a small package. Most regular solar showers are too bulky to take on a backpacking trip, but this is perfect. Like most people have said the cord is weak. I would recommend you remove it right away and replace it with 550 cord. Keep that cord though as you can use it for other things. -

Read More Easy to use, I did not find it flimsy as other reviewers stated and yet it packs up to the size of my palm. It makes a great handwashing station and shower. Once I figured out not to overtighten the nozzle it didn't leak a drop. I love it so much I am buying another one to keep in the car camping gear.
Read More I've had my shower for about two years. We use it on multi-day river trips. It is really a closable, waterproof, fabric bucket with a shower head at the bottom. I'm sure it can be used as a sun shower, but we just heat a bucket of water, pour it into the large opening, close it up, and hang it in a tree. We pull it up into a tree using a 1/4 inch rope thrown over a branch. One filling is good for about 3 quick showers. 4 star rating because it leaks a little water through the taped seams.
