In the past had other saddles that lasted a year or more, with bigger spills with little or no damage. Serfas said this was not a defect - in other words the tear was to be expected and they said we should buy a seat cover. -

Read More I loved this seat until I came out of work to get on my bike and found squirrels devouring the seat! No joke! I only had the seat for a week and I must say that it was very comfortable. It's holding up despite the giant chunks taken out of it. The squirrels also ate the attachment for my front light so I don't think it was the material of the seat to blame. What the hell?
