Read More I used this product as directed on my cleaned, 4-month-old Vasque Breeze hiking boots. The first time I crossed a 2" deep creek my toes got soaked, even though the water was well below the top of my boots. I have used other Nikwax products successfully on other hiking boots and fabrics with excellent results. So maybe the combo of leather and waterproof fabric just doesn't work well. -

Read More purchased the combo package to waterproof a new pair of boots. Fabric and Leather Proof applicator doesn't work. Called Niwax support. Described problem and tried their suggested solution. didn't work. Nikwax customer support said there was nothing more they could do.
