Just installed this seat and have done a couple test rides through the neighborhood. It put the fun back into biking. Still very stream lined look and feel. Gel Pads in the right places. The shock absorbers were well thought out. No painful chafing or numbness. Provides comfort to those personal area's of obvious concerns all without any POST Riding pains. I would absolutely recommend this seat to anyone no matter what level of experience. -

Read More Have had this saddle for 3 years. Very comfortable, but it is starting to deteriorate. I am a occasional rider, maybe weekly on average since I got it. I do store my bike outside and at time it is in direct sun hot sun, but covered most of the time- just seems to me this ought to hold up better. Have never had a saddle that just started falling apart. Maybe if you keep your bike indoors it would hold up better, but I don't want to baby my bike, just my bottom. -

Read More To be honest, this seat was put through an almost unfair test. I was recovering from some issues (to put it as politely as possible) that made sitting, let alone bike riding, uncomfortable, but I was able to ride about three miles very comfortably. It was like sitting on a very comfortable office chair. Well done! -
Jun 5, 2013Good fit on the rear endI ride my bike as my means of transportation so I was looking for a seat that gives me comfort. Ninety days into use, good purchase.

Read More The original saddle that came with my mountain bike did not give me much trouble until I started to also use my bike for commuting of about 1 hour 15 minutes non-stop each way. It gave me groin numbness, so I decided to shop for a better saddle. This Serfas E-Gel Cruiser Saddle is wide to support the bones, well-padded, with deep central grove to allow normal blood flow. I have been doing the same commute several times already and I no longer have groin numbness. This saddle is a bit on the heavy side. Most of the weight is in the spring underneath. But when I install it on my bike, it doesn't feel that bad. I am not going for racing, so comfort is more important for me. -
Apr 11, 2013It is the best product that I found.I use the bicicle to go to the office. I take around 40 min. It feels better than my previous saddle, but ot could be a little softer.

Read More After reviewing seats online, I bought this seeking a soft seat for primarliy commuting, then trail riding. Maybe I'm still breaking it in (or it's breaking me in!), but after mountain trail rides, my inner thigh muscles where it touches the seat were more sore than what I expected from a gel seat. It's good for long road rides, but again, I expected a softer ride and more shock absorbtion for a seat with springs. It's also worth sharing that angling the seat level is challenging because the bars under the seat in which you secure the seat clamp to your post diverge just at point where the seat is about level (as opposed to pitched upward slightly where it wants to go). The jury is still out for how the seat works for the long haul, being a new addition.
