It is a space saver for car camping; much smaller than a regular pillow, but just as comfortable (maybe a little more comfortable because it stays put all night). I am surprised by how great I sleep with this pillow. -

Read More I've bought about 6 different backpacking pillows over the last few years, searching in vain for a pillow that will afford me a good night's sleep in the backcountry. I'm happy to say I have finally found THE ONE. I've tried air pillows, down pillows, the Thermarest compressible pillow, the jacket in a stuff sack trick, but nothing beats having a real pillow. At 10 ounces, it's not the lightest pillow out there, but boy is it comfy! It's compressible enough to fit wherever you have a little extra room in your pack. On top of everything else, it's a great value. I wish I'd tried it sooner. I highly recommend!!! -

Read More So I was in REI and saw this big box of pillows. They were just the right size and loft and I wanted to buy one, but low and behold, they weren't for sale--the staff used them to stuff into backpacks to demonstrate how much a pack could carry! Bummer. But then I saw this little blue pillow. It's a smaller than what I hoped to get, but for its size, it provides a lot of support and it's comfy. It's become my go-to camp pillow. -

Read More I got this a few years ago and loved it when I first got it. It parked up to a reasonable size and was not overly heavy for its usefulness. Now though it has been rolled and packed up too much so all the fill is compressed and it is too thin. It no longer has a good comfort to space ratio so it is really just taking up space in my pack. Yu may get a period of usefulness out of this but it isn't going to last too long. I am looking for other options now. -

Read More I use this pillow all the time from car camping to road trips to airplane travel. I usually attach it to the outside of a bag but it also fits in the top after packing a standard size gym duffel. It can be a little thin for sleeping in a tent on the ground but for car camping I usually throw a sweatshirt under it or add a second equally squishy pillow. -

Read More I got one of these with all of my other camping gear with my most recent dividend. Little did I know that my wife decided to commandeer it when we took a five hour train ride. Then it somehow ended up in my daughter's room as her regular pillow. I ended up buying a second one for her as she has started camping with me as well. While it doesn't compress down as much as some other pillows, the trade off in price and comfort (especially comfort) is well worth it.
