Read More My boyfriend and I started with one of these on our AT thru-hike this year and ended with 5 of them. We loved them so much! We used them for our sleeping gear, our clothes, and even one of our food bags- they are completely waterproof, even when submerged in water, sitting in puddles for hours, and stuffed to the gills. If they made a backpack like this, I'd buy it in an instant. Do yourself a favor, pay the money to get the best! -

Read More Used them for my hammock under quilt and top quilt. Survived being in the water for about 20 min Every thing stayed dry. The compression straps are strong. You can wrench down on these things with no issue. I have broken other brands, but these take the punishment and do not slip once tightened. -

Read More I used this thing for 600+ miles of the AT, plus 130 miles of the NPT. It held my bulky synthetic Cosmic 20 for all of those, and kept it dry through even the hardest of rain. I don't use a pack-cover, but this thing kept my bag 100% dry through a week straight of rain in the 100 Mile Wilderness. I fell into streams multiple times and never had any issues. Absolutely worth purchasing when you need to keep something dry and small. -
Jul 2, 2015GreatI use for my sleeping bag and it works great and after two years still doesn't leak.

Read More Kept my sleeping bag and clothes dry when backpacking in a downpour. Nice and light. The 10L is a good size for very compressible down sleeping bags like the REI igneo, and the 15L is a good size for bulkier synthetic bags. I've found the best method to compress these is to put the more durable looking black (opening) end on the ground and sit on the orange end (the end with the handle). Then pull up on each strap in succession a few times until you've compressed the bag down to your desired size. It's so nice and compact afterwards that the hardest part is resisting the urge to toss it around like a football. -

Read More backpackers necessity. the small sake fits my lightweight sleeping bag AND my jackets. ridiculously amazing. you are taking big bulky items that usually take up a lot of space and shrinking them down to a corner of the bottom of your backpack. more room for wine!!! I've even used this when airplane traveling. easy way to get more jackets in your luggage. worth every penny.
