Read More Very unstable even on the living room floor. It wobbles without extending the legs. Thin metal (plastic??) bracing that is waiting to bust. The bungee cord keeping the table slats together are wimpy and probably won't last long under normal "camping" use.. The bungee cord plastic bushings in the table slats were loose, some had to be pushed back in. The end caps on the tubular braces that hold the table top to the metal frame below were loose and would fall out easily. Just try to fold the table top back into a shape that allows it to fit in the bag. Very disappointed with the quality for the price being charged. I wasn't even tempted to try to use it on our upcoming camping trip and then return it.
Read More I own the original version of this table and have used it on the river for 14 years. I love it and just bought another. It's at least as stable as the standard blue rollup. It's larger without taking up much more space. The adjustable leg height allows for level setting on uneven terrain. Set hot pans on it, no problem. The differances I see between the new version and the old are; the attachment of the outer slats have been changed (I like it better) and there are small plastic spacers holding the slats apart. I reserve the right to alter my review once I have river tested this model but feel strong you can't go wrong with it. Especially since REI offers a 1 year money back guarantee!
