I have used an annual kit ( I find every 2 or 3 years works, but YMMV) on all my stoves & they all operate perfectly. My only complaint is the packaging... would be nice if it were in thinner cardboard instead of bulky plastic. If you have an MSR stove, and it's a couple years old, do yourself a favour & get the kit to tune it up!

    Read More     I have a Dragon Fly and Whisperlite MSR liquid fuel stove. I have annual maintenance kits and Expedition kits for both. On a trip into the sierras, I found my pump peaked and wouldn't pressurise the fuel bottle. Luckily I had a pocket rocket back up, so we could still eat that night. When I got home, I followed a YouTube video and replaced all the orings. It turns out just one was faulty, but now they're all new. So this kit is great, BUT it's crazy expensive for just one service. Why doesn't it come with three of each o-ring, so I could then get five years from it? I know check my stove works before each trip, and have the bare minimum spares + Ti spoon tool when I go away.
