Read More I received this brush as a birthday gift a couple of years ago. I have been using it ever since to keep my boots clean. Once I had someone on a group hike ask if my boots were new. Actually they had about 250 miles on them at the time. I just use the brush and cold water to clean my boots each time I get back from a trip. The plastic nubs work great on the leather, and the bristles get stuff out of the treads. I don't use the two different edge tools very often. Overall it keeps my boots looking great!
Read More The hiking boot brush is the perfect tool to get rid of all that caked mud that gets into the tread of your boots. I am an invasive species biologist, so I am very cognizant of the possibility of transferring invasive species by getting seeds stuck on (or in) your boots. Since I work in invasive species infestations often, it is important to me to thoroughly clean my boots before going to the next site. This tool does it all. The brush lets you get the easy stuff off, but the plastic ridge allows you to get into all the creases in the tread of the shoes. It is a great little tool and I highly recommend it.
