Jan 17, 2011When you've gotta go...Works fairly well for multi-day cave trips where you need to pack everything out. The plastic bags are a tad bulky, but this system is certainly easier to use than zip-loc bags.

I found it messy, uncomfortable and short on toilet paper. There is a new waste bag called The Biffy Bag.It is absolutely awesome. Check it out. I will never use a Wag Bag again. -

Read More I have used the WAG bags on several multi day river trips and love its easy of use. Do your business, seal it up and throw it in your garbage bag. The WAG's dry chemicals render the stuff harmless enough to throw in the dumpster. And they even come with a towelet for clean up. I recently introduced several friends to WAG bags and they howled in approveal! Yes, PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Read More I did a recent backpacking trip in which I used 3 different makers of Wag Bags. I will tell you that this one preformed BYFAR the WORST. They are all the same as far as their "operation" and functionality, but what really matters here is the oder afterwards. A lot of oder was escaping from this wag bag hence making for some unpleasant walking. The wag bags that worked the best, with no oder escaping, were ones that had mylar outer bag, not permeable plastic. And, also, nowhere in the instructions does it state that you need to "add fluids", a very important ingredient to make the breakdown process occur.
