Read More The original WTB Speed V seat that came with my Marin Muirwoods 29er suffered a failure with the rail that holds the seat to the seat stem assembly so this purchase is for replacing that seat. Given that the bike is used rather heavily, that I weigh about 220 and over some 7 years the bike and the seat have served me well. I just never expected that part of the seat to break? I've owned other bikes for much longer and never have had such a problem. The new seat was almost a perfect match to the original. The padding is more than adequate and the stitching hasn't been a problem. I guess if I get another seven years of use I am satisfied. I ride about 40 miles round-trip each day 3-5 times a week to get to work. So far no complaints. -

Read More I normally use the WTB Laser saddle, a $100.00 + saddle. I could not find a Laser in stock and I saw this saddle in stock at the LBJ store. It looks very similar to the Laser so I bought it for my mountain bike for a trip to Colorado this summer. I am very happy with the saddle and so is my butt. It is very comfortable. Negative would be it is a little heavy for your 15# carbon road bike for all others it is a good deal. -

Read More I purchased this saddle for my mid-level road bike. I needed a little extra cushion to go alone with my cycling shorts for the extra mileage I was beginning to log. This saddle is great for the average rider who is trying to make there bike more comfortable with out adding too much bulk. The seat is sleek enough that other riders wont think your riding a beach cruiser seat on your road bike. -

Read More I'm a daily commuter but I put this on my weekend all carbon road bike. I replaced a very nice San Marco brand saddle that was just a little too hard to use without padding. I haven't had it long but the wtb is great so far. I can jump on the bike with just jeans or shorts or wear padded bike pants. Good price, good product. Comfortable without feeling mushy. -

Read More I needed to replace my Serfas Gel saddle and decided to give this one a try. I am not disappointed. This saddle is very easy to mount when starting an ascent. I also found that it was much easier to move my weight behind the saddle during a descent. Something the wide rear area of the Serfas made a little more difficult. I've only used it on one ride, but the stitching doesn't bother me.
