Petzl  Croll Ascender B16

This product is not available. Good news: we have a newer version.

The Croll is a classic ascender used for caving; unlike the Petzl Basic, it is not intended for self-belay.

Best for "frog-style" ascending

For the "frog" technique of ascending a rope, this one's more compact size and position (lying flat agaist the body) are ideal. I've used the Petzl Basic which worked OK, but a little less efficient.
