Dec 26, 2015Don't do it!Do not waste your money. At almost $20 a pair they wear out WAY too fast! Thorlos, Wigwam, and Columbia are just as comfortable with TWICE the wear. Smartwool socks are overrated.

Read More I absolutely adore these socks! I have poor circulation in my feet and they are ALWAYS cold. During winter they become unbearable, so my dad recommended these socks. My toes can still be a bit cold but it's so much better than before! Usually with wool I break out in hives but these are soft and comfy, with no rash in sight! I highly recommend these. -

Read More I bought three pairs when I was 18, I still have the same three pairs, I am now 30. I wear these all year round. They are on the thicker side but even in the summer I don't feel like my feet ever get hot and nasty. I've worn these through the wettest of seasons and have accidentally fully submerged my feet in water, these wick moisture like no other, they would be dry in 15 minutes while wearing them. The soles are a bit thicker than the uppers and I feel like that gives you extra cushioning you might need on heavier hiking days. Overall, excellent socks. I also recently bought the lighter weight smart wool socks and they are amazing as well.
Read More Smart Wool medium weight hiking socks are great for everyday wear with work boots, or hiking the AT. Not only do they wick away moisture, keeping down serious foot stank, but they are well constructed and give years of service. Expensive? Yes. Worth the money? Big Fat Yes! Highly recommended.
