Read More This soap does lather well and smells nice. However, it is still soap. After 3 days, your skin/hair develops a waxy buildup that is very unpleasant. Worse, I got a speck of lather in my eye with immediate discomfort worse than with other cleansers. A couple hours later my eye got filmy and burry. I think it was the peppermint that made it worse. It did clear about 24 hours later without medical intervention. -

Read More I prefer using bar soap with a washcloth instead of liquid with a loofa, so I was happy and hopeful when I saw that Dr. Bronner's comes in a bar version. It smells and cleans excellent, exactly like the liquid version. It's the only soap I use in the shower at home and at the campsite - I'll never go back to standard bar soap.
