My dog love it- but it was frustrating to open until I used this...

My dog absolutely loves this. I buy the pre-made pops and I make my own when I have time. The only thing I hate about this is it is so hard to open. The rubber is slippery so you cant get a good grip on it. But I finally found something that helps and makes it easier to open, easier...not easy. I took the wheel off my pizza cutter and placed the handle over the top portion of the ball, it fits perfect, it is not slippery and while it still takes some muscle, I can at least hold onto it and get it to turn.

I the Pupsicle for my dog and she loves it

So i have a golden retriever about 3 years old, she loves the Pupsicle, we got a medium one with birthday cake flavored ones, long story short, she LOVED it, she kept looking at them whenever I walked close, But still, Some of the best money I ever spent. not that I made this mistake (I PROMISE), I'm just letting anyone who sees this, in the top left of the box it says the size, MAKE SURE you get pupsicles pops the same size

My dog loves it but don’t recommend putting in dishwasher

Let me start out by saying my dog LOVES her pupsicle (which we’ve nicknamed the wupiscle). We started out buying the premade inserts but my dog prefers just plain old peanutbutter so we use the molds to make her peanutbutter inserts weekly. As a puppy it kept her entertained for close to an hour! Now as a 1 year old pup, it’s closer to 10-15 minutes of interaction, which is still great! The only downside to our pupsicle is that after a few washes through the dishwasher, the material has changed (shrunk and is softer) so screwing the two pieces together is very very difficult. So I’d highly recommend hand wash only to any new pupsicle owners!

Great and Easy toy

This is a fantastic toy. I do love being able to make my own treats. The thicker ingredients do last longer like pumpkin, kibble , fruit and yogurt. I made pumpkin with a few blueberries and some dog broth stew as a topper from healthy pet store. She loved this combo. I have a chewer so watching when she is finished is now key so she doesn’t chew the toy! Recently you all have posted about table scraps, etc while at first I thought great idea. Please post a list reminding pet owners of the harmful foods. While chicken can be good the seasonings on chicken humans eat is not usually ok dogs. Love the woof!!! Might get a xl one for extended time!

An absolute favorite!

I have purchased so many of these pupsicles, both for my dog and as gifts for other dog owners, and I can’t say enough positive things. They’re durable, easy to take apart and to clean. They take my dog about 25 minutes to munch on, and she’s engaged the whole time. You can either purchase a mold for making your own treats, or use their premade treats, freeze them or room temp, or just put some PB in there for the pup - my dog loves it any way it’s served! I also love that they have different fun colors - we have original green, pumpkin, baby blue, and now lavender - the brighter colors are easier to find when my pup is playing with it outside.

My Pup loves your pupcicles!

Great! The first time I gave Willow a pupcicle was love at first lick. It keep my 4 month old busy for some good time out for me. I used them also to soothe her when I had to leave her home alone. Never had one problem with leaving her alone. Willow knows where I keep them and will point to the container I store them in and give a little “wuff” to let me know she wants one. I love the convenience of the pupcicles and the ease of storage. I love the way the pupcicle holder makes Willow work for her treat and keeps her occupied and stands up to her hard chewing habit. Not a scratch to be found! Willow and I very happy we found your company!!

Great in theory

These seem great in theory, but in practice they are pretty awful. They are so hard to open and close that my diesel mechanic husband who works on busses can’t open them. We’ve taken to putting a little olive oil on the threads to get them shut, but even still they are so hard to open afterward to clean. The breaking point was when he tried so hard to open it that it ripped the rubber grips. I had tried getting some olive oil onto the threads but it didn’t work. I also tried opening it under hot water, cold water, and tried percussive maintenance. Nothing worked, and now it’s broken. These would be so great if they had a better open/close system.

More of a chew toy…

I had purchased my dog the original design pupsicle last year and it worked great, exactly as advertised. It would keep her going for about 40 minutes. Over time it got a little beat up (but still fully functional) so I decided to order my dog a new one for Christmas. With the new design she’s more interested in chewing the nub off of the bottom than anything that I put in there. She’s also got large paws so with the right grip she can definitely start to twist it open a little. I do wish that the old design was still available as I’ve gone back to using the one that we have left. The new one just gets used like an expensive bouncy ball.

Hoping this one works better than the last one!

The ordering process for this item and this particular one seems like it will work much better the the one we previously had! We ordered a new one because the previous one we had became almost impossible to open and close, despite putting oil on it per instructions! We tried everything and once we got it closed (by twisting with our full mite) it was near to impossible to unscrew it. Got tired of trying. But, because our dog truly does love it we decided to give a new one a try! This one definitely has a different feel to it so hoping!!! The pupsicle itself is a brilliant idea and our dog loves it, hence the 5 starts.....just hoping this one works!!

We LOVE these! I purchased one first for our golden retriever. She has a time in the morning where she gets a little “mischievous” and bored. She loves this after breakfast and she sits quietly with it for over a half an hour. I can get ready for work and have my coffee! She gets so excited when she sees it, so we decided to get them or our 3 other dogs. They all love them and we could not be happier with the purchase. They love the refill pops buy we also make our own frozen chicken/sweet potato/rice balls. We boil all the ingredients and smash it all up into balls and freeze and they work perfectly for the pupscicles. 100% recommend!
