I am 6' 275 and the bag is more than big enough. I used it in a high mountain elk hunt this year the first of November. Low temperature was 13 degrees Fahrenheit. Was very comfortable with one of the expansions open. On warmer nights I opened both expansions and unzipped the lower part of the bag and was comfortable. The only thing that I would mark the bag down would also make it not as warm, but would put fuel side entry. They way the tent was set up the exit for the bag was against the tent to keep my head uphill. Zippers worked great, expansion worked amazing, light weight enough for backcountry trips, overall a great bag!! I am going to be purchasing this bag in a higher temp for summer trips.
To each their own, but I believe BA delivers the best sleeping bag on the market ! Their bags are made with quality down products so they are lightweight and very compressible, and are true to rating! Plus my favorite feature of BA bags are the pad lock system which is nice for not rolling off your pad at night .
This product is excellent. I used it on a river trip this spring and really appreciated the extra leg/foot room afforded by the double zip option. I also really like the pillow holder. You can stuff it will a puffy coat if traveling light or a small down pillow.
The bag is great, but I was saddened by the quality decrease of the padlock system. It is not near as timely, practical, or strong as it used to be, and that is disappointing to see from a company that makes outdoor gear.
