Great bag, cant possibly be 12L

I love this bag, its very very comfortable and works great on the mtb but there is no way this is 12L. With a 3L bladder, the middle compartment is barely able to hold a few little things in Ziplock bags . With the bladder full I should be able to put in 3 more full bladders if this was a 12L bag. I think these companies measure compartments separately and don't account for intrusion from one to the other.
