Bold statement, I know. But Smartwool just hit it out of the park for those of us who struggle finding a more short-waisted jacket. I wore this almost nonstop on my last multi-country adventure and it held up wonderfully!
I really love the wool stretch of this jacket. I have also used Craft Subzero jacket for running/skiing and I liked the fit/stretch of this jacket much better.
This is my second Smartwool jacket in this style. Bought the silver/gray last season. This is great for cool Fall/Spring season hikes and I wear it in my far-too-cold office as well.
Super light weight, perfect for layering but looks good as a light outer layer.
Sadly, the wool portion of this product is VERY thin to the point where the structural integrity of the fabric fails. With very little wear (and gentle washing and NO dryer), this garment sprouted holes after just a few months. The fit is great, but the quality is poor. I own a lot of Smartwool products and have been happy in the past. Not this time.
Soft and warm. Length would fit well on someone taller than 5’2. Color is complimentary.
Ordered this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Lightweight and very warm.
Haven’t worn it yet but have another in another color so expect it will be fine.
