Cannot go wrong with Darn Tough microcrew socks. Love the new design in mens. Held up well to multiple hikes in the Cascades.
My favorite socks!
I have a 9/9.5 foot and "athletic" calves. These socks fit PERFECT. I prefer socks that don't have a tight band on the top but still stay up, and these are it. Plus, the design reminds me of trips to Montana, ahhhhh, so good. The fabric is soft and not all itchy. They can be worn several times before they get stretched out or stinky and need a wash. So women, give a men's sock a try if women's fit isn't working for you. :)

Love the look of these socks. The size tends to run small in my opinion. I wear a men's size 12 and ordered the XL as per the size guidelines. However, the socks are very snug and at the end of hiking, the tops leave a ring around my lower calf/ankle area. I think the socks are high quality and will last, but not sure until I have worn them for a while. I ordered 4 pairs of these socks and it will be interesting to see how they hold up.

My go to indoor winter sox
I don't like wearing shoes / slippers indoors. Outside of winter, no problem, but during the winter the floors get cold as do my feet. These are the perfect mix to keep my feet warm but not hot.
