Rated 5 out of 5 by from SURFY RESPONSICE POW SLASHER The Backwoods Split has been my go to board this winter with our huge storms and deep powder riding. This board surfs pow with great style. I've ridden the Backwoods in everything from waist deep powder to choppy rain crust and big mountain couloirs and I have been impressed by the board in all conditions. Definitely is the board for deep days but fun to ride everyday. Im 5'3 and 135lb and have found the 152cm to be a perfect size for me. Easy to control, fun to ride. I've ridden half a dozen splitboards and the Backwoods has taken a solid seat as most fun, go to board this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big mountain powder shtick Didn't think I'd have as much control on a 40 degree line of ice but this board delivered. Huge nose and blunted tail give incredible float in the pow and maneuverability in the trees. It may called a Backwoods but don't be fooled, this thing handles the big lines with confidence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Phenomenal Could not be more stoked on my backwoods. Perfect for gliding through the glades and hitting that deep pow. The camber profile with the rockered tips really lets me rip through turns while keeping me above the snow. This board rides better than my solid. Would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes backcountry trees effortless This board's tapered shape (wider nose and narrower tail) makes it ideal for maneuverability in trees and surfy pow slashes. Karakoram clips make it easy to swap between touring and ridering and the topsheet sheds snow nicely, preventing icy buildup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pow slayer So glad I pulled the trigger on this boards absolutely slays pow but the camber underfoot and directional side cut make it so nimble! I love it in steep trees, deep pow, and even carving in variable conditions. Super light too comfortable and stable on long tours perfect amount of camber with early rise rocker in nose and tail makes this thing handle like a dream. If Weston would split the japow id be so stoked! That board is so sick too demoed it at Loveland this season!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Backwoods is Surfy Gun and tons of Fun The Backwoods is fun, surfy gun. It handles in all conditions. The tapered shape and directional stance means it tackles drops and big lines with no problem. The shape is great going edge to edge and being set back on the board means quick movements. When out in the open it arc's turns like none other.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from most versatile split I've ridden This board is so fun! I've been riding another brands hybrid reverse split and before that a home made burton I split. Wow I can't believe I waited so long to try this board. Read some good reviews and saw it in backcountry mags split test so I checked out a split demo at Loveland this season and was able to try it for free. I was super impressed it rose like a solid board on the resort and it skinned great uphill. It felt light and nimble which was a very new feeling for me. When skinning I kept looking down to double check I had a board on my feet ha felt like just bindings. So light!!! Ended up ordering one the next week from rei and I've been loving the board. Got it in powder a few times and was blown away. So fast edge to edge and stops on a dime. I love the directional camber and big tapered nose. You can tell the Weston guys know what they're doing and designed boards for our mtns here in CO!!! Keep up the good work guys! See ya at Silverton Splitfest can't wait to put this board through the ringer!
