Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Up To Ortlieb Standards Bought it Fall 2016 for a two week bikepacking trip. I've used Ortlieb panniers for years on my touring bike, rolling thousands of miles with nary a problem. So, when it came time to give bikepacking a go, Ortlieb was my obvious choice. I got the Ortlieb Seat-Pack and Handle-Bar Pack. The Seat-Pack is the bomb and lives up to the Ortlieb reputation - simple, secure, and sturdy. The Handlebar-Pack, not so much. I understand that a handlebar pack could be a difficult bag to design, with all different bar styles and forks. So, I gotta cut Ortlieb some slack in that respect. The issue I had was the bag would hang down and rub against my fork crown (see pic). In only a week, I had a hole in the bag. Trying to raise the bag by removing the foam spacers so it wouldn't rub was problematic since then there was too much slack in the velcro straps and they would wrap around and around the bars. I buy and use Ortlieb gear because it's simple and bombproof. But I don't think this product is either. I'd look elsewhere. On a side note, it was dry and the Accessory-Pack that goes with the Handlebar-Pack was convenient and solid.
