Does REI mount the bindings as part of buying the set or would we need to pay additional to get them mounted? Thx

Asked by: Extremesgs
Bindings do not come pre-mounted as bindings must be properly set for the individual user based on their size and ability level. We can mount your bindings for you for an additional fee at participating REI ski shops: https://www.rei.com/stores/snowshop.html

I'm considering these for my teen daughter who is an intermediate skier who skis on-piste 90% of the time, but needs something that will perform in deeper snow once in a while. Are these too advanced, or too much ski for her?

Asked by: Deviant from Norm
Based on the information that you provided, these skis are a great choice. The tip/tail rocker offers great flotation in deep powder without sacrificing control on icy or groomed snow.

I have gone skiing around 8-10 times. I stick to greens and sometimes blues. I would rate myself a beginner/intermediate skier- I never fall. I prefer to slowly cruise down the mountain, and I don't like a lot of speed. Are these a good pick for me?
