Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect pack for day hikes Love this bag so much! Perfect for day hikes or runs, or bike rides. I love it because it isn't as bulky as some day packs are but it has plenty of room for water, food and 10 essentials. Highly recommend!

Obviously this pack is meant for biking, however could it also be used for someone who only hikes? What would the drawbacks be?

Asked by: ckennett
Some hikers may dislike the small size or the fact that it does not have water bottle pockets, but otherwise, it could be used for hiking as well.

if i wanted to use this while snowboarding, is the hydration pack insulated? afraid the water in the tube will freeze and break the mouthpiece.
