Are the binding mounted to the skis or do we need to take the skis and bindings to a ski shop for mounting? If the bindings are not mounted, does REI mount bindings to skis and would I get a discount going to REI for this service?

Asked by: jimbo
These skis come with pre-mounted binding plates but the bindings themselves are not mounted. A certified ski technician must mount the bindings and test them with your boots prior to use. Any one of retail stores that has a ski shop will be more than happy to mount the bindings. REI members do receive discounts on shop services
