Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely warm with not too much weight I really like this item. Very comfortable, extremely warm. It's not too bulky for a winter coat either. I've worn it on many hikes and never once thought it was too much. Even without the liner it kept me completely dry and warm. I do not love the fur on the hood which is just a personal preference BUT you're able to zip it off so there's no problem! The only complaint I have is that the sleeves of the liner come out of the jacket and this style inparticula me i The one complaint I have with the coat is that the sleeves of the liner show through the bottom by your hands when wearing the jacket. The issue with that is the "fuzzy" material starts to get matted and dirty. Simple fix is to just keep pushing them back in, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket! I really love this jacket. The fit is perfect. I like that there is no velcro on it (velcro ruins things like the ties on my hats with ear flaps because they get stuck on it). I like the sleeves - they are a good length and they don't have those annoying extra sleeve with thumbhole that gets in the way when you try and wash your hands. This jacket is waterproof and really keeps the wind out. I can't even feel the wind through it and that's really saying something. I bought my usual size (xs) and it's comfortable to wear layers underneath. I like the option to zip in a down jacket instead if I need extra warmth. But actually, the fleece jacket it comes with is really very warm. It's a lot warmer than all the other tri-climate jackets I've tried. The fleece also is cute enough to wear on its own, when often the inserts in tri-climate jackets are not cut very flattering. But this one is nice. I like the blue color. This jacket is washable. Really my ONLY complaint is that the hood is huge. It would fit over a helmet I guess, but for normal wear it's totally impractical. It covers up my face so I can't see. Columbia seems to do this on a lot of their jackets. But at least the hood is detachable so I can just wear a hat instead.
