Size chart

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Where Have These Been All My Life?! From the moment I put these boots on, I was in love. I have wide feet and typically wear a size 9, but opted to size up to a 9.5 to be sure I'd have enough room. I prepared myself for the typical break-in period and the hot spots and blisters that follow, but found the Tower Treks required zero break-in time! The articulation in the ankle area allows for great lateral flexibility when gripping steep terrain, but also provides solid torsional ankle support. I've broken my ankles 3x, so this is always an area of major concern when selecting boots. These have a light and nimble, yet sturdy, feel with exceptional grip on slippery, jagged, and steep footing. On both the AT and Kilimanjaro, I hiked thru deep streams, snow, and ice. My feet stayed entirely dry and comfortable the whole time, never once getting that soggy overheated feeling. So far, I've tested these boots in temps from - 20 degrees to 90+ and found my feet stayed comfortable. The greatest part about these is that I didn't even have to think about my feet. It wasn't until I finished the Kili trek that I realized I didn't have a single blister or foot-related complaint. Bonus: they clean up really easily with just a dry brush. Overall, I'm stoked on these boots. Even after all the tough miles, they are still in great shape. Great quality, fit, and durability.

I am looking for boots that will qualify for boot reimbursement through the forest service. They require an 8' waterproof boot. Will this meet that qualification?

Asked by: Adrienne
These boots measure approximately 6 inches from the heel to the top of the boot, so they do not meet your requirements.
