Come tour the 48 mile Chattahoochee River National Water Trail over the course of the year on our REI Chattahoochee River Adventure Series. Established in 2012 the Chattahoochee River National Water Trail was the first designated National Water Trail in the nation. Each segment will offer a unique perspective of a different portion of the Chattahoochee River within the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. From the tranquil waters of Bull Sluice Lake to the rocky shoals below Buford Dam the Chattahoochee River is as varied as it is beautiful. Most segments of our Adventure Series are intended for beginner to intermediate paddlers. Pre-requisite: Learn to Kayak or similar experience. Must be physically able to paddle 8 miles. Lunch and touring kayaks are included in the price of the tour. For Kayakers 14 and up. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
