National Trails Day is American Hiking Society's signature trail awareness program that inspires Americans of all ages to discover, engage, and celebrate trails while participating in outdoor activities, clinics, exhibits, and trail work projects. There's an adventure waiting for everyone, since it's America's largest trails celebration. REI Alpharetta is partnering with Roswell-Alpharetta Mountain Bike Organization for a stewardship project at Big Creek Park. We will spend the morning clearing and rebuilding trails on the heavily used Big Creek trail system. This is a fun work day and a great way to volunteer and give back to the outdoor trails we love. No experience is necessary. Everyone is invited including groups and families. We will be providing food, drinks, a free t-shirt, and a great day of volunteering! Volunteers are invited to join us after the stewardship project from 2-4pm for an "after party" at The Brass Tap in Atlanta. Sierra Nevada will be on hand with free beer samples, SWAG, and raffle prizes for volunteers. Address: 4505 Ashford Dunwoody Rd #32, Atlanta, GA
